Bethel About

Core Values of Our Organization and Its Team

Bethel takes a holistic approach to senior care, as evidenced by our slogan, “Aging with Grace: For a Better Life, for a Better World.” We strive to empower not only our residents to live better lives through our comprehensive services and supportive communities, but also for others to recognize the invaluable wisdom, experience, and potential that seniors bring to enrich the wider world. This mission is deeply rooted in our core values:

  • Compassion: Kindness and consideration for those we serve and for each other
  • Commitment: Dedication to our mission, to those we serve, and to each other
  • Integrity: Maintaining the highest standards of character
  • Excellence: Being our very best, providing the very best care

These principles are the foundation of every interaction and decision at Bethel, driving us to continually enhance the lives of those we are privileged to serve: residents and their families, as well as our team of caring professionals.

A Proud Tradition of Caring

For more than 100 years, Bethel has helped older adults live life to the fullest, caring for them with compassion and understanding.

Today, Bethel offers a full Continuum of Care from its campuses in Ossining, Croton-on-Hudson, Goshen, and Valhalla, New York.

Services are provided at:

  • The Pines, which offers affordable apartments for independent seniors
  • The Knolls at Valhalla and The Knolls at Goshen, two Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) for active seniors
  • The Springvale Inn, a 125-unit assisted living apartment complex in Croton-on-Hudson
  • The Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 43-bed skilled nursing facility in Ossining.

The continuum of care provided by Bethel also includes community-oriented programs such as Adult Day Health Services, Home Care, Respite and Hospice Care.

With a dedicated staff of 500 people, Bethel provides housing and health care for seniors in the immediate and outlying communities and, as such, has become the area’s leader in senior care.

Bethel is a non-sectarian community, providing equal housing and employment without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, disability, or marital status.
