Principled Stewardship of Aging Communities

In addition to operating our own campuses, Bethel provides principled and effective stewardship for other assisted living, nursing, rehabilitation, or continuing care retirement communities (CCRC). Under the guidance of our experienced leadership team, Bethel’s Community Management services revitalize communities in need by increasing the quality of care, all while maintaining the cost of living for existing residents.

Bethel works tirelessly to ensure efficient administration while meeting the standards of all applicable governmental entities.

Communities under our management receive services across these categories:

Financial

  • Formulation of operating budgets
  • Coordination and reconciliation of reserve and operating bank accounts
  • Preparation and submission of annual financial statements, CPA reports, actuarial reports, and any other required reports

Leasing

  • Evaluation of contracts and fee structures, establishing all rates and rate increases for services and care provided
  • Request, demand, collection, and receival of charges and payments from Medicare, Medicaid, insurance companies, HMOs, private payment, and other sources of payment
  • Negotiating contract rates and renewals
  • Maintenance of office records and accounting books

Operations

  • Maintenance of facilities, grounds, and equipment
  • Implementation of BCM’s established operating procedures and policies
  • Creation of contracts and placement of orders for utilities, appliances, equipment, and supplies
  • Monitoring and maintenance of healthcare, property, liability, and all other required insurance
  • Coordination of housekeeping, environmental, and food services
    Maintenance of patient files in compliance with all applicable governmental entities

Employment

  • Maintenance of employee files in compliance with all applicable governmental entities
  • Decision making regarding staffing, supervision, and management
  • Preparation and filing of all forms, reports, and returns related to employment as required by governmental entities
  • Coordination of staffing, payroll, benefits, and other personnel administration matters

Marketing

  • Evaluation and implementation of marketing and admissions programs
  • Contracting of consultants necessary for implementation
