Colleen Melville Appointed Director of Nursing Services at Bethel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Bethel Homes and Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Colleen Melville, RN, to the position of Director of Nursing Services at Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Croton-on-Hudson.

This is a homecoming for Ms. Melville, who, earlier in her career, had served at Bethel’s Ossining campus where she had nursing and administrative oversight for the residents and staff of the skilled nursing facility.

Says Beth Goldstein, Bethel’s CEO, “Colleen has a proven track record of designing and implementing quality improvement measures, and we’re excited that she has rejoined our team as Director of Nursing. Colleen’s passion for providing the highest quality of care with compassion and integrity, combined with her experience and vast knowledge, make her a perfect fit for Bethel.”

BNRC is a 200 bed skilled nursing care facility with a dedicated rehabilitation unit and dementia unit, in addition to continuous care.

“I am proud to bring my expertise back to the community of Bethel.  It has always been a special place for me,” says Ms. Melville.  Prior to assuming her current position at Bethel, she was the Director of Nursing at Field Home in Cortlandt. Throughout her career, Ms. Melville  has also served as an oncology and surgical nurse, among other senior level positions, and found her passion in caring for seniors.

Colleen is a long-time resident of the Hudson Valley and enjoys scuba diving, hiking and the outdoors.
